on the 19 of may 2011 year 6 performed there la carnivala to all of the junior school and the teacheres including Mr Heath Mr southwell and Mr Martin. it all started three weeks ago when each class learnt a style of dance Mrs Blanch had disco Miss Keaton had latin Mr Gosentes had Australian Indigenous and Mr hendrik (sorry cant spell his name) had hip hop.
to start getting in the spirit of la carnivala we all were put under a long sheet of cloth with a dragon head at the front of all of it all and we went around the school picking up everyone who is comming to watch our performance then when we went to the hall and the audiance all got seated. then all of the classes took turns to do there class dances and we also had some small 2 to 4 person groups doing there dances inbetween the class dances.after thall of that we got everyone from the audiance down and had 5 or so minutes of just fun dancing. than we went back to school and back into work.

The Mystery of the Haunted Mansion

Once upon a time there was an old house on top of the highest mountain. Nobody has lived there for over a hundred years, the people that used too live there were the Portart family. They moved out because of this weird sound and things kept going missing.
But one afternoon there was a little boy named Tim, he was 9 years of age and lived with a family of 4 his Mum, Dad and 3 year old sister, Kate. They were the new family in town. Tom was a boy that got in to a lot of mischief and decided to go for a walk and find some friends while his family unpacked. Tim went to the local park, but there was nobody there. Then he saw this big hill with a house that had a big, black gate around it and all of the crows flying around and it. It looked really old and was falling to pieces, but Tim didn't care. He just wanted to check it out, so he went up there. 5 minutes later Tim got to a rusted, squeaky, tall gate. He was a little scared but he went in, there was all sounds of bugs and screeching all around him. Tim got to the front door and it was wide open with a big spider web on it and a big red back spider. Anyway Tim kept on going he hadn't had enough yet. He walked in and there was no furniture there was only some broken glass and some planks of really old wood lying around. Tim walked up to a staircase that had holes in it and walked up stairs. On his way up he saw a big sign on the wall in green saying ''help me''.

i wonder how peter felt about having no family or brothers or sisters?
